Setting your team up for success is obviously important when delegating. If you do not explain the importance of the entire task, it may not be clear as to what the big picture may be. Be specific about what needs to be done. Connect your team with the right departments to make sure that they know who to go to for assistance should they need it, without having to come to you.
Now that you’ve mastered the leadership art of delegation, it’s time to implement it into your process. A key sign that you are not delegating enough is when you feel as if your to-do list doesn’t end and your team’s to-do list involves much less.
